What is commonly measured in the healthcare system isn’t how safe care is but how harmful it has been. This webinar presented by Healthcare Excellence Canada will highlight findings from a research study which aimed to answer, “How safe is care from the perspective of patients, families, care partners, and care providers?” Grounded in the Measuring and Monitoring of Safety Framework, this research represents critical shift how patients perceive and experience safety, as well as how patients, care partners and providers, together, can enable safer care.
