AVI Health and Community Services (AVI) is a community-based AIDS Service Organization (ASO), with offices in the communities of Greater Victoria, Westshore, Nanaimo, the Comox Valley, and Campbell River. The catchment area for AVI includes all of the Gulf Islands.

AVI Health and Community Services provides education, advocacy and support clients. Their interdisciplinary team also provides education and prevention information to schools, the broader community and target populations. Integrated services are made available to individuals with HIV/AIDS and/or hepatitis C, tuberculosis and other communicable diseases.

AVI Health and Community Services' effectiveness is derived from their role in the community and our connections with the populations most infected by, and at risk of, contracting HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and other communicable diseases. Throughout a large volunteer base and the community partnerships, this CHC effectively targets and educates difficult-to-reach populations.
